Hopefully the final entry in the Juanita Smith saga. From the AP story, which I found on the Star....
Michael Isaman, a Topeka police officer who lives near Smith, told The Kansas City Star a suicide note was found in the home. It said Smith's daughter died March 21 and was in a bedroom, he said.
The note, Isaman said, read in part, "I didn't have enough money to bury her."
Sidwell declined to confirm Isaman's account Wednesday. "That's part of the investigation. We can't comment on that," he said.

Didn't have enough money to bury her? Couldn't she call someone for help or something? Geh.
It's amazing to me that someone who was so influential in teaching girls to make good decisions made so many horrible decisions in her own life.
