I adore the weather in this state. Today, wind/showers, high of 71, low 42. Tomorrow, "wintry mix," high of 41 (one degree below the previous day's high), low 16. Thursday, snow showers, high 27, low 13.

This is me taking Thursday off. Maybe tomorrow, too.

Hey, as of yesterday afternoon, the forecast for tomorrow was a morning low of 62 and an afternoon high in the 30s. Fropas, gottaluvem.

Kansas needs to get its act together. Yesterday was supposed to be 65. I was walking around all day going...LIARS! WEATHERMEN! ALL LIES!


BAH. I like winter but there's no shame in EASING into it instead of handing us winter right after a perfect day like this.

I almost prefer my home state and its perpetual winter. Well, summer can be mild, briefly warm, but never hot. Kansas's charm is that it can be anything -- and the exact opposite tomorrow.

That's part of the reason I want to get away from here--to a place where there are actual season and NORMAL weather. After living in Kansas and Texas, having mild summers might be nice (just a reason why I'm thinking that going north would be nice).
