Oh, good, a road trip. With the family, no less. Kill me.
Well, the good news is it's to bring Dad home, as he's getting released tomorrow or not long after. He can use the walker, he got the bandages taken off his left arm (they changed them on the right, but he still looks kinda meaty so they kept 'em on). He's doin' a lot better, which is good. And they're going to need more than a couple of people to drive him back down, so my volunteering actually got accepted (mind you, I originally offered back when I was gainfully employed, thinking that that would keep me out of the actual circuit, but lo and behold my excuse has fled and it's time to buckle down).
Finally some clarification as to my two accessory questions ("How's the bike?" and "What happened?") and they're both pretty much as I figured. Dad's beloved Gold Wing has been totalled, unsurprisingly. I imagine they're going to give it to us in a Ziploc bag. And I figured with a motorcycle vs. truck-with-trailer, it'd be a making-a-wide-turn issue. Dad insists vehicle did not signal, they insist that they did. Hey, even if it's not my dad, I know who I'm believing.
And the Dolphins' David Boston is out for the year. Well, hey, that means they're looking for receivers.... I wonder if they need letters of recommendation...?
