Remember when the photocopy of page 606 of Half-Blud Prince started floating about the Internets before the book's release? Be wary -- same thing appears to be happening again, according to my faithful monitoring of the rando-pic generator. No link (I'm not going to either ruin someone's enjoyment of the book or shower fakery with attention, either way), but two thoughts:

1. What kind of name is "Rimulus?"
2. If these are genuine, I was so right.

1. A gay porn pseudonym for Romulus?

2. That it's actually worse than Book Six?

Augh! No! Bad touch! Bad touch! We're going to have Warriors for Innocence bursting in here like the Spanish Inquisition....

Nobody expects the Warriors for Innocence!

Seriously, though, considering that one of the popular theories had Remus Lupin's long-lost twin brother Romulus show up, it wouldn't surprise me if this were a bit of fan-service fakery with an unfortunate typo. I have not seen the image in question, so I can't be sure.

A persistent typo, which does put a damper on things.

Soon's I get to work; my VNC server doesn't seem to be working anymore, dammit.

sounds like Rimulus is a typo of romulus, or ...what [livejournal.com profile] rainfletcher said. Um.
