-- Tearing apart your sister's abandoned computer. Granted, it's abandoned because it's a Packard-Bell and is on a par with my computer from, oh, ten years ago. And the CD-ROM drive refuses to boot Knoppix. So maybe there's something wrong with it, he said, getting out the screwdrivers....

-- Tearing apart your sister's computer in the hallway 'cause your room is too cluttered. Sigh. The birds egg me on, no pun intended. Tiny makes cute encouraging tweets of happiness before devolving into car alarm mode. "DADDY! DADDY! DADDY! DADDY!" "What?" "...I'm a pretty bird." Sigh.

-- Ripping out said CD-ROM drive and chucking it into the basement. Wow. That felt good.

-- Oh, look, Knoppix is working, suddenly. Boo-yah. Just in the wake of getting the web server up and running again, I might finally have a dedicated machine to do it for me. Not enough memory to run KDE, shock and horror. I think my watch has more memory than this thing. Eh. I shall let it boot and entertain the pretty birds before they tear their way out of the cage....

Glad that the site is back up. I DID miss it but I didn't want to complain.

Your exhaustion (and da Bee's) might very well be a bug. I slept ALL DAY Sunday. All dingdanged day. And I didn't feel rested. It was awful. And Mom has the same thing. We think we caught it at the party on Saturday. Anyway, if you are suffering from that, it should abate within a couple of days. Whee! Just drink lotsa orange juice and watch DS9. That's what I've been doing and it works like a charm. :)
