I haven't been watching "Jeopardy" because...I just don't find the phenomenon of one person's trivia arsenal annihilating everyone else to be that enthralling. Like the god-awful shows they had on Comedy Central and now ESPN about stumping "experts" in the field -- I think it's the inherent smugness and air of superiority that just defuses its appeal. Of course, Ken Jennings is the guy you'd like to get beat by. He seems pretty restrained since he's made mulch of Jeopardy contestants for a couple of months now. Though I'd still like to see the five-day rule back in effect, and I know I'm in the minority there.

Still, let me be the party pooper and link to the supposed spoilers as to the latest results from the Jenningsapalooza, which I've seen corroborated at different sites about the web. It's going to be October before we see this, but I think a 74-game win streak and a $2.5 million dollar haul will be sufficient, hm? Now where's my buzzer?

While I understand your point, I still have a lil' crush on Ken Jennings, and I kinda liked the idea that after a certain point, God would come down from heaven to challenge him. After God gets his ass handed to him by the One and Only Ken, he will abdicate his throne, and Ken shall become our new deity.
Or, y'know, he'll just stop winning one day. I like my version better.

I'm just pretty sure that the person on the Jeopardy! staff who had the bright idea staff to make it so the winner stays on until he or she loses has lost his or her job....

Although, from what I've read, ratings for the show have gone up over 50% since Mr. Jennings' reign of irrelevant trivia has begun. They may consider it money well spent.
