At work, my passwords have to have at least 7 letters, one of which must be capital, at least 1 special character, 1 number, and it can't be a repeat of any of the previous 11 passwords. Also, since this would tempt people to use a number that corresponds to the month, that is specifically forbidden. You'd think my computer held permits for nuclear facilities instead of recycling centers.
