Hey, rewil, missmiah, kadyg: Who says student journalists aren't students of history?

By summer 2006, the Collegian officially signs on and launches its Web site with the popular newspaper journalism program, College Publisher. During that summer, the Collegian launched its first-ever online video content.

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and just say that they misstated...whatever they were trying to say here. I'd go to the old Collegian archives, but SURPRISE they aren't working.

It's nice to know that blithering incompetents can still thrive in Kedzie, though.

I'd be angry ... OK, I am a bit angry, but then again: don't they realize how late-to-the party they're portraying themselves by implying they couldn't be bothered to do video prior to last year?

But of course. And you know that the people that are the most incompetant are also the people in charge (for the most part...I think Alex and Jon are doing okay, and Adrianne and Willow and Austin, despite the fact that he gave me cross-country but everyone else is totally replaceable.) Even worse is when you get the editors who are doing a half-assed job at it and then have this attitude like they're doing everyone a favor by gracing them with their prescence.

Well, in their defense, it's not like they can look at the archives.

In their prosecution, I'd point out that it's because THEY LOST THEM.

(Amusingly enough, I actually have them backed up somewhere around here. Maybe I should put them online....)
