If you ever think that Law & Order gets too tawdry? Turns out reality can still top it. This is messed up.
A Topeka man charged with having sex with his underage daughter told jurors on Monday that she was sexually aggressive and came after him.
...On Sept. 11, the victim testified Stovall raped her more than 100 times, the first time when she was 12 and the last time when she was 15, and had fathered a child she bore. The daughter, now 22, also testified Stovall, at times, would punch, kick, choke or hit her with a stick or a pipe.
...When Stovall's sister complained in 1999 that his daughter was dancing suggestively around the sister's boyfriend, Stovall said he lost it and "back-handed" her and beat her with a woman's belt. Photographs of his daughter showed injuries she suffered when he beat her, Stovall said.
...Stovall, a Muslim, said that in keeping with his religion, he didn't want to voice his shame by saying he had had sex with her.
On the upside, the jury won't be out too long.
