Again with the iTunes Signature Maker

I hadn't done this in a while, so I gave the iTunes Signature Maker a fling: 1.28 MB .MP3 file here.

It's 55 seconds long with 30 different song clips. I'd like to see who can get the most of these tunes guessed: I'm willing to bet it's going to be between rewil and daethkow, myself. If only because I know there's one tune only daethkow will get. And that's almost not fair. (There's also one song even I can't distinguish as being in there.) But note that my taste in music is acquired at best....

At first listen, I have six solid, and I have artists for a couple of others:

In no particular order:
1. Lust For Life - Iggy Pop
2. Cigarettes and Hours - Sign of Saturn (it might be something else on that album, but I know it's them)
3. Tessie - Dropkick Murphys (gimmie)
4. Perfect Drug - NIN
5. How Soon Is Now? - The Smiths
6. Don't Fear the Reaper - Apollo 440(?) ('nother gimmie)

I hear Tori Amos in there, and I want to say Enya for one of the first ones. I also hear something that sounds like Korn. Maybe I'll give it another go later tonight.

Five out of six, not too bad. You're the only person who reads this who's going to get Sign of Saturn, so I'll credit you with that one, too (but yes, it was a different song)....

No Perfect Drug, though. Would you believe that? (And no Enya, either, and no Korn. I'm not sure which you might think is Korn-like....)

I kind of suck at picking out song snippets. The only additional song I recognized for sure is "Piece of my Heart," although the rising bit following "Lust for Life" is very familiar and I should now it ... and there's a bit in there that reminds me of Neko Case/New Pornographers but I don't _think_ it is.
