It's that time of year again when what looks to be the worst storm of the year is bearing down on us. And that takes me back to a kinder, gentler time when people could enter their school and business cancellations via a Web form with no validation and have it appear live on-air not soon afterwards.

Sweet mother of cow, that was funny. I think my favorite was the Tommy Tutone reference, strangely enough. It was slightly more subtle than the rest, it had the throwback Gen-X appeal, and it actually looked plausible.

The R. Kelly was just WRONG ... beautifully wrong.
