Interesting results from Nevada: Romney wins big thanks to overwhelming LDS (note: not LMD) support. Ron Paul currently running second. Huh. Not that it matters if Romney emerges as the consensus, to the pleasure of the Democrats, no doubt. (Also: apparently it's "neh-VAD-duh," not "neh-VAH-duh," as Michelle Obama learned to her chagrin. Let's not worry about Missouri yet.)

For the people who live there, it is Neh-VAD-uh. I was born in Reno and lived there until I was six, but I had family visiting for years.

Now that I am older, and bristle at people saying "HEE-ro-SHEE-ma" for the Japanese city when it is in fact, "Hee-LO-sheh-ma," I am less likely to grumble at people for using the correct Spanish pronunciation, rather than the Americanized "correct" version.

*shrug*

We vote on Super Tuesday here.

Caucuses, and when there's an overwhelming stompflat like Romney engaged in, a lot of them wrap up quickly. This isn't like primaries where you have a 12 hour period in which to vote...everyone gets together at the appointed time and starts making their picks at the same time.

BTW, Romney definitely has the LMD vote.

Probably, but I bet Thompson polls strong in the Skrull states.
