The first image of Snake-Eyes from the G.I. Joe movie, via ol' pal Larry Hama. And knowing Ray Park's going to be under that suit? Suddenly I'm actually looking forward to this.

Also, #11 seed K-State upends USC by 13 frickin' points. And finally some answers on Lost? It's not a bad Thursday.

I find it strange that a ninja carries a .45, but you have to keep up with the times, i suppose.

I find it even stranger that he's wearing a harness of rifle magazine pouches. Then again, i think my magazine pouches were stuffed with things other than magazines, like foodstuffs, ipod, cell phone, etc...maybe he carries cool ninja shtuff in there. So i guess that's alright, too.

Either way, i'm still kinda looking forward to it.

Larry Hama wrote and drew the issue of G.I. Joe that explored Snake-Eyes's back story, from going on LRRP to his time in Japan -- it was a pretty effective story, answered all the questions raised up to that point and opened the door to more stories. In my embryonic personal mythos, it was a pivotal moment, so it has a soft spot in my heart. Seeing this...makes me happy in a way I wasn't prepared to admit.

I get more excited just knowing Larry Hama is involved than anything else.

Okay. I wasn't even remotely enthused about the movie. But you said Snake-Eyes. And then you said it's Ray Park in the suit.

GEEKFREAK ACQUIRED!

Yay for local underdogs! Hmm, lemme go check the bracket to see if K-state could face USD in the finals... Yep, it could happen.

Of course, the NCAA officials' collective heads might explode if an 11 met a 13 in the finals. But I can dream!

And once again, sorry for mail-bombing you - I replied to Indigo's comment by mistake.
