Officials are trying to decide whether to file charges against a Missouri man who fatally shot his wife while trying to install a satellite TV system in the bedroom of their home.

Moar: A schoolgirl wasted away and died after developing such a fear of dentists that she would not even open her mouth to eat. Her, at least, I can empathize with.

Bodger's Guide, page 214, paragraph 2:

When using a handgun in place of a drill, be sure to place a large block of clay or phonebooks or equivalent material on the other side of the piece to be worked on. Do not use frangible ammunition. On anything stronger than plywood, use steeljacketed rounds or armor-piercing if available. It is not recommended to use a handgun in place of a drill on anything tougher than cinderblock.

I have to wonder why the mother didn't take the child to the hospital weeks before the poor kid died.

Let alone why she let the dental hospital pull all her baby teeth.
