Via querldox: a first-hand account of traversing the aforementioned Maine Solar System Model. Extra points for musical references (and I'm pretty sure I listened to two of those en route), mind-boggling realizations (that Alpha Centauri would, at that scale, be as far away as the moon) and nocturnal moose encounters.
