The Toshiba flatscreen TV/VCR/DVD/CD system apparently also comes with an undocumented SOS feature. "OMG USAF SOS LOL OMG," I expect.

Muffin back from vet, all's good, return in a week. She's quite the charmer, having captivated the vet, the attending and the cashiers. She wanted to watch the end of the baseball game last night, so just for her, we stayed up until 12:30 this morning. Yay David Ortiz! Also, boo pigskin. You're like Jerry Lewis.

Moosie: mad. Tiny: furious. Muffin: gleefully nibbling on cords and claiming the desk. She's seven weeks old and 77 grams and climbing. She's Daddy's girl.

And happy happy birthday whee to neonnurse! Libra power!

Only 77 grams? Um. Did the vets not seem concerned about this? She should be up around the 85-95 range...

No, they seemed quite content with her weight as-is. Dunno why. Maybe it's an age thing?

She's attacking cables on the desk again and acting surprised every time she sees another. And claiming the desk. A lot.

I almost went five for five for the first time this season in the weekly NFL picks on Delphi, but I went with Sandy Eggo. Heart? Broken.

You and me both. The Chefs and the Bolts both snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. About the only good thing to happen this weekend is that the Pretty Birds have a seven-point edge over Costa Rica going into MNF, in which the Ticos have one player. This could be bad.

Lousy gridiron weekend. At least the BoSox are still alive.

BANG! "Lawrence Tynes has been released by the Kansas City Chiefs."

All I could think about during the game.

I like LT, I hope he sticks around, he has a great story.... I just wish KC would stop short-changing special teams, as that has a nasty habit of coming back to haunt them.

Also -- "Chaos League" = PC Blood Bowl done right with an RTS twist. Expect more soon.

LOL!

We're becoming more convinced that de lil Muffin is a girl. Not positive, and really won't be able to tell until s/he is healthy.

The "feminine" behavior may just be a result of stress and illness (and young age).

We WILL be having the gender tested next week, assuming that Muffin is feeling better and can handle having blood drawn.
