Enh. Ask me again in 4 years, and I'll tell you whether this was a good thing or not. Granted, I hate politics--I tend to be of the view of 'Anyone who works that hard to get into power, probably shouldn't be.' But McCain basically shot himself in the foot--his PR people were so busy trying to trash-talk Obama, they forgot to hype their own guy.
Meanwhile, I find it kinda curious that while Palin has been lambasted up, down, left, right, strange, and charm in the media, there's been little or nothing heard about Biden. That makes my conspiracy/paranoia/alternate-reality/RPGing urges perk up, and makes me wonder if we'll end up with a coup after Biden turns out to be a secret neo-Nazi or something. ;-)
