First, thanks and farewell to Lamar Hunt, one of the visionaries responsible for the modern NFL and a very cool guy. His achievements are too numerous to mention, but he was a decent man in the sport of football, and even that is an accomplishment anymore. Quoth Marty: "There was nobody like him. That's a cloud chamber - I tried to build one from household parts in the 8th grade. It didn't work because my flashlight was too dim, and my uranium sample (just unrefined ore) probably wasn't concentrated enough. But, I built it in late October, the design required dry ice, and when I went to pick it up I got to have the following conversation:
Them: So, are you gonna use it to make a boiling cauldron for Halloween?
Me: No, I'm using it as coolant for an atomic cloud diffusion chamber...
