Good news: the Phelps cult changed its collective mind and won't picket the Amish funerals. That still doesn't stop me from thinking they're nothing more than a waste of flesh and oxygen. They've been bribed with media time, which disgusts me, but at least I can change the channel; the Amish shouldn't have to put up with them.

On a more pleasant note -- really, could it be less pleasant? -- picspam ensues.

You know, there are only 70 church members. You'd think some whackjob could actually do something about them, show them that maybe God doesn't really like them all that much. I mean, how do you read the Bible and think God wants you to say "blah blah blah" about five girls being brutally murdered by some child-molesting asshole. Seriously, it makes you wonder why these people go after the Amish, instead of Westboro Baptist. I mean, do the Amish really offend anyone? I know it's got nothing to do with them, but how do you end up thinking they're worth protesting.
