So President Obama took the oath of office again today. Some see it as necessary, others redundant. Me, I think it's a fantastic idea -- hell, he should take it every day, like a Green Lantern.
Obama also goofed in his speech. He said that 44 people had taken the oath, but while he's the 44th President, only 43 people have taken the oath since Grover Cleveland is counted twice as a President but only once as a person.
Actually, there was that one guy who was President just for a few hours back in the 1800s because the actual President wouldn't take the Oath on a Sunday or something along those lines.
I toyed with coming up with an appropriate oath for the executive branch, something as catchy as Hal's, but couldn't do it. My mind is not in a poetic shape.

Huh. I never thought I'd use oath as a verb.

And if you give me a little time I could probably come up with the Presidential Oath.
