Run, Dave, run!

Dave Wannstedt is stepping down as coach of the Miami Dolphins. Good for him. He's a great guy who didn't deserve the whole Ricky Williams mess to come crashing down on him and for injuries to deplete an already mediocre team. He's certainly not as bad as the 1-8 record indicates.

I just pray Dave gets another job in the NFL before Ricky does.

Hopefully it'll be with another AFCE team, as long as it's as a head coach. He may be a good guy, and a good defensive coordinator, but he's a lousy head coach. Some people need to know their limits. I'll miss the Pats getting to play against him twice a year; hopefully the Dolphins hire Spurrier.
