Via MGK: Girl dying of vascular cancer wants to see Up, but is too ill to go to the theater. Pixar to the rescue. But the details of this piece transcend any base summary, believe me: 94 inches, seven hours, eyes closed, the book.... Steel yourself before you read it, but know it won't do any good.

Well, speculation is rampant on who it might have been, and the popular thought is that it was Lassiter himself. Not many people would be entrusted with a copy of that movie on DVD.

It's these shining gems that restore my faith in humanity, and a reminder that humans do operate the big businesses. As far as who visited the house bringing the DVD, thats between them and the family, nobody else needs to know. What's important is the feeling that anyone at Pixar would have leaped at the opportunity to do that. God Bless.
