The good news: for me, anyway, that the Chargers won, insuring a playoff spot, and just enough fantasy points to boost the Manhattan Pretty Birds into an insurmountable three-game lead (assuming Bernard Berrian and Brian Urlacher don't combine for...let's see...67 points tonight, which is highly unlikely, even against Minnesota). Is this the first time someone not employed at Cessna has won NUFFLE? Sigh. I am content. (My three keepers for next season, by the way: Peyton Manning, LaDainian Tomlinson, and Sean Payton. I think he counts as a "stone.")

The bad and not altogether unexpected news: the Chefs blow another game at home. Guh.

The ugly: listening to Keith Olbermann do his Chris Hansen impression during Football Night in America. It was glorious. Though today I'm just glad to still have power.

Today: many critters and a few naughty words.

The Hello, Food kitty one cracked me up.

I think Finals: Day 5 came at about Finals: Day 2 for most K-State students, who were trying to study in the dark and cold.

And the only thing I could think of when I saw the graph paper was my roommate, Dawn, who's an engineering major. She's got so much of that crap she could wallpaper her room with it.
