I'm wondering where the 'Melody Harper' line is from...and is the ending music from Worms? It reminds me of a much longer song I heard aaages ago about Worms.
Wow, and those were the only ones I grabbed from those two sources. Absolutely right on Worms -- I was surprised I went to that well only once -- and the "Melody" line is actually:
Melody harbored no illusions about unilaterally stemming the resurging red tide. "But," she reflected with a grim smile, "what special agent could resist the opportunity to fill a few Bolshevik cemeteries?"
I had no good "reporter ambiance" dialog that wasn't aphasic, so that had to do. And if you don't hear the whole thing, it almost works.
Wish I could remember the name of that song, actually--I have *no* idea where I put the file. Basically, it was a 'ballad' about one of the worms fighting in the war.
