For a while it was one guy posting the same two users' comments over and over again (though it seemed like he was intentionally pacing them so they'd be about one month apart), and while the posters have become a touch more diverse, they're also posting the same people with increasing frequency (seriously, four days apart?).
Pisses me off because I like MQ for the exposure it gives me into other LJs I normally wouldn't wander into. Defeats the purpose when it's this repetitious.
Heh, I haven't said anything quotable for at least the last four years. But you're right, I should keep a closer eye on my f-list for worthy witticisms. I don't think I'll wander into anything notable unless I'm under heavy sedation.
Though I've got eight more days until that happens....
Heh, worse, LJ-famous. Which is like being the best hockey player in all Equatorial Guinea. Or the best cross-stitcher in the Marine Corps. Which may be a thing, I dunno. Special forces are special.
well, when's the last time you posted something there?
Used to be several MQs each day. But as more people leave LJ, there's fewer journals worth quoting. And fewer people around who want to take the time...
I'm not sure that I've posted an MQ since "omg racecar bling bling," and that was about five lifetimes ago. What makes it harder now is that most of my f-list is RSS feeds, f-locked or otherwise private information that doesn't need dissemination, or a lingering, unraveling humor that doesn't blossom in brevity. Could it be that there are just a handful of quotable people left on LJ? That's a dire situation I hadn't fully contemplated yet....

Perhaps we should all start posting random bits from each other?
