Man, I love it that Bachmann went for this presidential bid. Y'all needed the same high doses of stupid that we've been subjected to in MN for that last few years.

Holy cow, I remember when she was elected and thinking she was just a fringe lunatic then. Now she's got a national stage, an audience, and a following, and I'm not sure what part of that is most astonishing to me. I should be surprised by the media failing to hold anyone accountable for their idiocy or hypocrisy (Newt Goddamn Gingrich?), but there's precious little time for that amid Casey Anthony and Amanda Knox updates.

I'm all for political differences, but when she starts propagating the anti-vaccine hysteria is the point that she's doing legitimate damage to the state of national health, and that's simply dangerous.
