Hey, twat has a long and noble history. It goes back to the 17th century. It's also related to "thwaite" as in the ending on a lot of posh British names, which I find endlessly amusing.

Just that there's an event which features as its main attraction the opportunity to fondle a means of transportation. Strikes me as odd, but then, I'm a bit jaded and don't have fleshlings, so maybe I don't appreciate the finer things in life.

'k. We went to one when Ellie was little, and you could go into sports cars, pickup trucks, a Chevy Suburban (several courtesy of a local car dealership), a KinderCare short school bus, a fire truck (with platform!), a cop car (with sirens & lights!), and several others.

Ellie was a bit shy then, and didn't want to crawl all over most of the vehicles, but now? She'd TOTALLY be all over that. If we went to one now and it had a Garbage Truck, I think she'd faint from sheer glee. Wednesday mornings, the sound of the garbage truck and/or recycling truck is absolutely Pavlovian.
