Not a fantastic weekend of athletic diversion. As of this writing, Philip Rivers has thrown for four touchdowns. Pity two of them were to the wrong team. Dammit, Phil, you're making life very difficult for even your most devout apologists. Sigh. Still, I blame Norv Turner. Have I mentioned that I need you to bring me the skull of Norv Turner? 'Cause I do.

That Cody person should have his right to vote and his right to procreate revoked.

It took me far too long to get the books one.

Well, at least the final tally was four TDs to his own guys and only two (nearly three) to the other guys.

Do ya think maybe KC was looking past Miami just a little?

Anyway, the picspam! Never was a huge Ginny Weasley fan, to say the least, but Ginny vs. Bella was particularly awesome.

And as a father of two young daughters who are both obsessed with Dora the Explorer, I can totally vouch for that pause...

The last INT I don't blame him for. There's always been something dishonest to me about including desperation passes picked off in the same realm as, say, middle-of-the-quarter INTs. And there've been a few he's thrown this year that've fallen into that category that skew things just a bit -- not a lot, but a bit. He's certainly having an awful year, but not as bad as it seems.

But today was as excruciating as yesterday with the Wildcats vs. Oklahoma State -- physically you're just not at the same level and you really have no right being in contention, and you make it a hell of a game, but there's no style points for losing. Statistically it's just as awful as the Chefs' derpfest at Arrowhead.

I don't know what KC was looking at today. There were a lot of drops, so I don't think it was the football, and Cassel was getting rooked at every possible opportunity by the heart-stopping (sigh) Dolphin defense. That's just not right. I do confess to there being a certain ring to "Bring me the skull of Todd Haley," but if Josh McDaniels is Pioli's choice to replace him, by all means, keep Haley there until he's been dead for two years. Shudder.

Every time I hear Haley interviewed on the radio, I'm always reminded of Butt-head's infatuation with Todd.

The final installs of IE6 and XP will be lost forever when Don from accounting finally retires and his Gateway is turned in to IT.
