All I can say is that if the first three days of this week are any indicator, this week will be the death of me, or at least my permanent incapacitation. Hope it's goin' better for the rest of y'all, especially you NaNoers. Maybe Skyrim was the rapture....

(The above is from MightyGodKing's fourth installment of political Magic: The Gathering cards, and they're every bit as brilliant as the first three. Herman Cain having "Pizzawalk" kills me every damned time.)

my first reaction to the Magic card, before I saw the bottom, was MGK either did this or needs to see it. Glad it's the former!

I think I picked the most predictable of the M:tG cards, but that "third thing/oops" still hasn't gotten old to me yet. The Bachmann card is ingeniously deranged, and the Citizens United card cuts enough to make you bleed. Really, the cards deserved their own post, but I am lazy, and I forgot, and I was playing football all night.

Who is the blue guy behind Spawn?

The axe thing would be funny IF THERE WASN'T A BUILDING IN THE WAY.

I totally can't make that guy out. A hairy Dr. Manhattan, maybe?

I don't see the Joker hanging out with the good guys in their civies.

How about the black-cowled woman behind the blue guy, or bald yellow sunglasses guy?

Catwoman is behind Joker. I'm getting a Green Arrow vibe off the bald guy with the blond vandyke, I think GA has worn that sort of shades on occasion.

Yup, you're right. I guess I figured if they were gonna include him it would've been more prominent....

btw, thank you for doing these - - the concentrated dose of WTF+LOL helps me get through the week, man.

From: [identity profile] sigma7.livejournal.com

If I can share a bit of WTFery with my circle of online amigos and kill a few minutes (and a handful of brain cells) in the process, my life has meaning and the suffering is justified. I am good with that.

Dude in the front left of the Penn State picture is confused. He obviously thinks he goes to Texas Tech. He has his guns up after all. :P

Hrm. Agent provocateur or just irredeemable douchebag? I think you know where my bet rides.

My one problem with these is that I want to comment on so many of them, by the time I get to the bottom, I've forgotten half of what I wanted to say.

Awkward Penguin, man.

Want a bag of puppies...do not want a biodegradable pot of bees.

I think it is a mark of how funny these things are that I know very little about Skyrim/Magic cards/Dr. Who etc. but found this entire post hilarious.
