Todd "Bro" Haley fired. A bit unfair given the hole injuries put him in this season (Pioli put them in their no-redundancies scheme more than Haley did), but after losing yesterday, the way they did yesterday (seriously, 81 yards of penalties in one drive?),
To make matters worse, he's replaced by Romeo Crennel on an interim basis, because apparently Jim Zorn wasn't available (oh, wait, he was). Maybe y'all should've just let the team coach themselves by consensus.
And if Pioli brings in Josh McDaniels, I may add a new skull to my wishlist.

Garrett's out, you're right, but probably only when the Boys get mathematically eliminated (as I believe the Chefs were yesterday). Sparano's out in Miami, but he would've been out this year if they'd gotten the other Harbaugh. Have to think Andy Reid and Jim Caldwell are on thin ice, too. Tom Coughlin probably bought himself another few weeks.
And, of course, Norv is gone. Even if they won rings this year, I still think he's gone.

Cris and I had vowed not to renew if Haley was still coach just yesterday. So there's $260 I need to come up with.

And you're right -- Haley rolled the dice on the shortened preseason and promptly swallowed them, and Pioli can't take the blame for the charlie-foxtrot yesterday. (I flipped over the channel just long enough to catch the score, then ambled back to Skyrim. Time better spent.)

Hmmm... wonder if they could get Kyle Orton and Matt Cassel (and maybe Jamal Charles) to run things for a few weeks since they are paying them and all.
