One-word review of The Sims 2: Wow. Perhaps more frothing if I get around to it, but it's so hard just to alt-tab away for this long....

[livejournal.com profile] beeform is gone for the rest of the week. Perfect timing. Pity [livejournal.com profile] kauricat couldn't join her, as Bee misses seein' her there.

And even though I lost my job, it's good to know that I'm not alone -- that 403,300 IT-employed Americans have been sent home since 2001.

I want to hear him say it. John Kerry knows he can win the election (or just inflame half the country) by asking this one little question: "Are you better off now than you were four years ago?" But oooo, imagine the furor.

Update from Winfield: Bee's accidentally locked the phone and can't get it unlocked. Our PINs and the default number don't work. Any suggestions, Alltel gurus?

Topeka Capital-Journal publisher John Fish has resigned. This comes two months after the resignation of executive editor Will Kennedy.

I love it when this is one of only two stories I hear on the local bit of public radio, the other being a four-minute long Amber Alert.
