Well.

It... took me a few minutes to process that. These are all incredible, wonderful compliments, and I truly appreciate that they're so detailed. I didn't expect to be seen with so much depth. I just write what's in me, no matter what it is -- nice to know it is all well-received!

What surprises me about c) is that I don't expect people to see me having that disdain for limits. I can see limits everywhere and I give them the finger, but there are times when I am so dangerously close that I keep thinking I've pushed them, and then someone proves that I haven't. It's weird to me. Everyone else sees things about me that I don't see that should be quite obvious.

I'm looking forward to more of d).

The answer to e): When they wouldn't let me bring an unexpectedly dead character back in any form (not even as a spirit. And then when another character actually asked to be psychically and mentally wounded in a near fatal way. And especially, when my main female character refused to back out of a sacrifice plot point that I wanted to change. I was going to go easy on her, but there began an argument, and I think there were swear words involved. I was furious for a while. It was not at all what I wanted. Eventually I relented, because it was either that or scrap the whole book. But we agreed on a loophole. So it's now a nice compromise. You'd think characters wouldn't want authors to maim them unmercifully, you know?
