I believe in the therapeutic power of picspam, and it's in that vein I unleash these. A bunch are probably repeats, but...meh, it's been a while. Bear with me. And cats, a metric buttload of cats. Ganked from a million different places and no, I don't remember where.
The lunar anomaly is Brainiac -- he's the antagonist in this particular storyline.
Interestingly enough, it's the next issue which really hits hard, though when Morrison and Quietly did this scenario in All-Star Superman (and I have reservations on Morrison and normally don't like Quietly's work) -- they hit it so far out of the park it's amazing. All-Star Superman is the biggest surprise I've seen in comics in a long time; it's fantastic.
