For those of us who haven't paid any attention today because we've been standing at the door praying that the gas man will show up and make the magic machine of heat giving/water warming work... who's winning?
I visited city hall and asked what I needed to do to get absentee ballots and they pointed to the number on my voter registration card. Which I called. They told me they would send me some forms in a week or so (this was just about two and a half weeks before the election) and I would need to provide proof of Power of Attorney for DH.
So I waited. And waited. And called again, only to be told the forms were on the way.

Not that it would have made a bit of difference, but I'm still upset that Hubby and I's requests for absentee ballots were ignored.
