I visited city hall and asked what I needed to do to get absentee ballots and they pointed to the number on my voter registration card. Which I called. They told me they would send me some forms in a week or so (this was just about two and a half weeks before the election) and I would need to provide proof of Power of Attorney for DH.
So I waited. And waited. And called again, only to be told the forms were on the way.
