Not a horrible football season so far. I'm getting spoiled.

The two Facebook ones amuse me the most.

Fuckin' a dude.

Some great stuff today.

Also, I saw this today, and it made me think of you. :)

Good stuff.

Do you include the final call in the Chicago-Detroit game in that "not horrible" assessment?

Given your taste in images, are you going to do a picspam dedicated to the "Legends of the Guardians" movie that just came out?

Oh, poor Calvin Johnson. It was probably the right call to make, strictly speaking in terms of the rules, but it just felt wrong to take away such a spectacular catch. And I was hoping that after two close losses a team like Detroit -- especially after adding Best and Suh (and noting that Suh managed to record the Lions' first-ever tackle) -- would be able to put together something impressive against the Vikes today, but I was wrong.

I did get to watch the Notre Dame-MSU game last week, though, and that was worth every second.

And I think I'll let the Guardians movie come and go -- I think the CG's come a long way since Happy Feet (which I found to be just cloying), but I'm still not particularly invested in it. I just hope they don't play Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" in the middle of it.

I fear your spoiled season might be a little more spoiled. 450 yards passing ... 2 touchdowns. And you guys might want to have a discussion with your special teams coach ... perhaps behind the Murph' ... with a lead pipe.

DUI Knight is ALWAYS sideways.

So many good pics. Always appreciate the theology, and the happy cows, and the owls, and the unfortunate Facebook updates.

By the way, we were watching some truck commercial a couple of weeks ago with the line, "...hauling 10,000 lbs up a steep grade is hard on your tranny...." Deb (the Greater) fired back with, "Give him some support hose and some decent shoes and he should be fine!"

3-0, 2 game lead in the West. Good jorb Sebastian Janikowski.

The Bolts' woes don't concern me a great deal for a number of reasons -- it is September, after all, and they're about on their usual show-up-six-weeks-late pace. Plus, honestly, they've had their time, and it's good to see the Chefs ascend, finally (if about two years sooner than I expected). And it's hard to root for a team that keeps AJ "I lowball veteran players during an uncapped season and I drive away excellent coaches" Smith gainfully employed. They're still my favorites of the 32-puppy litter, but the spark's just not there anymore. (But seriously, Pete Carroll is someone I will enjoy watching lose under just about any circumstances.)

And w00t to Deb Major. It's been a long, long time.

Huzzah for the picspam! Peter Sellers as Agent Smith? What's next? He plays James Bond?

Oh, wait...
