Do you include the final call in the Chicago-Detroit game in that "not horrible" assessment?

Given your taste in images, are you going to do a picspam dedicated to the "Legends of the Guardians" movie that just came out?

Oh, poor Calvin Johnson. It was probably the right call to make, strictly speaking in terms of the rules, but it just felt wrong to take away such a spectacular catch. And I was hoping that after two close losses a team like Detroit -- especially after adding Best and Suh (and noting that Suh managed to record the Lions' first-ever tackle) -- would be able to put together something impressive against the Vikes today, but I was wrong.

I did get to watch the Notre Dame-MSU game last week, though, and that was worth every second.

And I think I'll let the Guardians movie come and go -- I think the CG's come a long way since Happy Feet (which I found to be just cloying), but I'm still not particularly invested in it. I just hope they don't play Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" in the middle of it.
