Much, much love. The Starry Night cake was fantastic.

The one washing the motherboard in the sink makes me cringe (especially since I see what looks to be an optical drive in the background). Love the 'I'm going to kill you in your sleep' expression on the 'Live-action Nyan Cat', though. :-)

Awesome pics as usual. :)

Have you seen Thor yet? If not, you might want to skip this, but otherwise it might appeal to your interests. ;)

Not yet, but I anticipate a screening in the very near future. Of course, if there was a scene of Thor riding a giant parakeet, I'd be in the theater right now.

Now that I've finally seen The Social Network, I understand all of those. (Obi-Wan was the best, btw.)

Loved the angry birds ones too!

The Mass Effect one ("assuming direct control") is a bit of an in-joke, but I figure one of those per post isn't too awful.

And while I'm no real fan of Zuckerberg or Facebook, I still admire the craft of The Social Network, particularly the score (naturally) and the dialogue (aside from the opening scene)....

Where do you get these? Sometimes I save some and send them to my husband while he's at work.

My mom washed my keyboard once. I drew a comic but I have no idea where it is right now.

Me: The keyboard's not working.
Mom: Really? It should be. I just washed it [in the sink.]

I don't know that I blame her, really. My younger brother's retarded mentally handicapped so he'd eat ravioli and watch porn and the keyboard got pretty gross. I actually can't believe I used it, but I was in high school and it was our only computer. This was before thrift stores and dumpsters had towers made entirely of old keyboards.

I browse a buncha different photoblogs and imageboards (a few not in English) and just drop anything that stirs a chuckle into a folder on my desktop. I used to hit the LJ most-recent posts page and save the shortcut so people could visit the source journal -- I found a great deal of my f-list thisaway and that used to be the whole point -- but now that's almost purely Russian spam. And [livejournal.com profile] beagle1971 sent me the first pic, that much I remember.... (All links, except for Beagle's, totally potentially NSFW, just so you know to reinforce your psyche before delving in.)

I'd actually always wanted to try using a dishwasher on some keyboards back when I had a hundred or so to clean, because I'd heard that if allowed to dry out properly it was a viable solution to mass-cleaning keyboards. Never had the guts to give it a try. Or a dishwasher. Did 'em all by hand, and it sucked.

I just yank the bottom keys and shake what I can down from the rest. I can say I do not have that much hair in my keyboard.
But have come close.
I imagine a vacuum would do a decent job, just make sure your keyboard is unplugged and/or pc is off so as to avoid static electricity getting frisky.

These are all awesome. Love the inevitable Social Network and Ob/sama bits.
I am going to start looking for the Doctor at all British events. It will be the new 'Where's Waldo/Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?' thing.
And is it just me or is that woman really happy about bacon prices being up? I sense the vegan side in her...

I ganked the first one from a former CJ staffer now in Emporia.

Videocassette, Starbuck(s), Lego. Awesome.
