You're all my best friends. You all, and the girl with the cello, and the Esteemed Colleague from Elsewhere, you're all my guys, you know that, right? Cause know that. It's true. You're my team. If things get freaky again, I need you all on my side to dig me out. Don't let me die in an unholy place. And protect yourselves. You're the best. Take care of all of you all, even the ones you don't know; they're worth it, promise you.

I'm always there. Always gonna be there.

(Edit: I don't remember making this post. But it's still true.)

Given the tags I'm gonna say no. Thinking about you Siggy. Praying if you want, good thoughts if you don't. *hug*

Sigma7 #1 ........................................... $2.99

Sounds like something terrible has happened, so let me guess...

I'm sorry you're being rebooted by DC Comics.

Augh! Spikes! Pouches! Grim -n- gritty! Commercialized and stereotyped sexual attitudes! Cliffhanger endings! It ALL MAKES SENSE.

...Or it will until the next issue. I should have a letter column.

Oh, thank God, feet. I'm Liefeld-free.

I still don't know who's writing my life. Could be Ellis or Moore. If it's Ennis, then life's only going to get more disturbing and grotesque from here. Somehow. If it's Gaiman, there's still hope. If it's Morrison, perhaps none of this is really happening....

This does raise an interesting question. If things get overwhelming, difficult, and beyond seeing a solution, would you try to fight your way through, or take an offered choice to reboot your life as Spiderman did? (Though I am not sure he had much of a choice.)

Re: Sigma7 #1 ........................................... $2.99

I can foresee a set of circumstances that'd make me want a hard reboot of my life to any given previous save point. It'd depend on just how dire the situation's gotten and where that save point would be (and memory retention).

If I'd have been in Parker's position, where Aunt May begged to be let go and Pete wants to throw his marriage away to save an already tenuous life...you can be highly virtuous and yet completely stupid in applying that virtue. But yeah, editorial fiat already twisted the gears; there was no illusion of choice.

Do you need me to come over with a shovel and some duct tape?

Do I need to send you a nifty art card? I have some I made featuring vintage pictures of 1920s showgirls...

Dude. WTF? I mean, I know you have a black belt in Cryptic, but this is LiveJournal, not Facebook (Mr. Dawkins .... IF THAT IS IN FACT YOUR REAL NAME). If I need to drive to Rhode Island to avenge your death, just let me know.

If it was just drug-induced, at least be comforted that they were happy drugs and not wharrgarbl or hee-hee-hee-thump drugs.

I was very worried (and confused), and then I saw your edit, so now I'm less worried but still confused. Also starving and cranky, but those two are completely unrelated to this post and more to do with just waking up and the dog.

(Having now seen the edit, I feel more comfortable saying this.)

Did you, perhaps, leave LJ logged in and then leave the room while TinyMoo was out of his cage?

Pig would type something like that. Maybe Muffin or Biscuit, more likely, as they tend to be on the receiving end of the pecking order more often. But they're all safe now.
